The Twirly Bird Snacker by Doc & Phoebe

IMG_1310

Fun, easy, inexpensive! This foraging toy by Doc & Pheobe is adorable. It is a great beginner toy for cats to learn the upward motion of tipping things for the food to dispense which is a challenging move for some cats to learn. The feathers really add interest. One could always cover up a hole to increase the challenge or place objects inside to make it more difficult for the food to dispense.

The Catit Spinner

This is a beginner puzzle that surprisingly kept a few master foragers occupied for a minute! It spins and swirls like a top, dispensing food out of one of three openings. The inside has a maze that prevents the food from dispensing too easily. It is good to offer novel puzzles from time to time to curb mental boredom.
